  16. My Seagte had to spin up not only after a coldboot, but also after every
  17. warmboot. To fix this, just cut the reset-line of the ide-cable and the
  18. drive will never know that you did a warm-boot.

  20. In case you don't know, the reset-line is line number 1 (The red one)

  22. Works fine for over a year now. A warm boot takes only 2 seconds before
  23. the drive starts booting.
